Christmas Morning Punch for Kids
Christmas Morning Punch combines 75 ml orange juice, 45 ml unsweetened cranberry juice and 10 ml lemon juice with 90 ml sparkling water. Use sparkling white grape juice instead for a sweeter alcohol-free drink. Makes one glass in 5 minutes.
This Christmas Morning Punch for kids mixes orange, cranberry and lemon juices for a bright, festive drink. Sparkling water is the less-sweet version. Replace it with sparkling white grape juice when a child prefers a sweeter, fruitier glass. Both versions are alcohol-free; there is no need to make a separate batch of the juice base.

How to make it
- Stir the orange, cranberry and lemon juices together in a tumbler. Add ice if desired.
- For the lighter, tarter version, add 90 ml sparkling water. For a sweeter version, use 90 ml sparkling white grape juice instead.
- Stir once gently, add the orange slice to the rim and serve while fizzy.
Recipe notes
Two topping choices: sparkling water is less sweet; sparkling white grape juice is sweeter and fruitier. Use unsweetened cranberry juice; cranberry juice cocktail changes the sweetness. No loose whole berries in children's glasses.

Something wrong or not matching?
Which version should I choose?
| Top with | Result |
|---|---|
| 90 ml sparkling water | Less sweet, with a more noticeable cranberry and citrus tang. |
| 90 ml sparkling white grape juice | Sweeter and fruitier, for children who prefer a softer tartness. |
The juice base already has natural sweetness from the orange. Taste it with sparkling water first; if it feels too sharp, try the grape juice version. Use unsweetened cranberry juice for the intended balance. Cranberry juice cocktail has added sweetness and will change both versions.
Common questions
Can I make Christmas Morning Punch ahead?
Mix the three still juices and chill them in a covered jug for up to one day. Add sparkling water or sparkling grape juice to each glass just before serving so everyone can choose their sweetness and the bubbles stay fresh.
Does this children's drink contain alcohol?
No. Both topping choices are alcohol-free, provided you choose a sparkling juice, not sparkling wine. Prepare children's glasses with clean utensils kept separate from any alcoholic drinks.
